In the league, Thurso again kept their MSIS North Caledonian League Championship hopes alive as they beat Tain St.Duthus 13-0 this afternoon. Goals came from Alan Murray with five taking his seasons total to 31 now, Jamie MacKenzie getting a hat-trick, Phil Makhouli, Gavin Bremner,, an own goal, a first goal for youngster Martin Bain and Gordie Steven. This shrinks Alness United's lead at the top to four points, with Thurso still having one game in hand.
