On Saturday afternoon there was a full programme of MSIS North Caledonian League fixtures.
Alness United took top spot with a resounding 7-0 win away at Migdale against Bonar Bridge. Thurso dropped to second after they drew 1-1 at The Dammies with reigning champions Golspie Sutherland, with our goal coming from a tenth of the season for in-form striker Mark Nicholl. This result left Golspie in third.
Balintore remained in fifth as they could only draw 3-3 away to Invergordon and finally Dornoch climbed two places to seventh as they hammered Tain St.Duthus 6-1.
The other fixture between Bunillidh Thistle and Halkirk United was called off.
