Brora Rangers V Thurso - report by Iain Grant
Thurso came out on top in a friendly versus Brora Rangers played at Dudgeon Park last Thursday. The Vikings registered a 4-0 victory with all four goals falling to Mark Nichol, who is out on his own in the North Caledonian League scoring charts.
A hat-trick of Nichol headers had the visitors comfortably ahead at the break.
Brora, who blooded several youngsters, came back strongly in the second half but were hit by a late fourth when Nichol was put clear.
Brora were under the charge of caretaker manager Jim Kelly and his new assistant, the former Golspie Sutherland manager Stuart Sutherland.
